The newly opened Batteriet sits in the heart of Södermalm. A creative office centre and a new, exciting hub full of energy. The vision is for an electrifying nexus that strengthens company cultures and makes you look forward to work.
Since 1997, Circle K (formerly Statoil) together with its sister company INGO has had offices in the property on Torkel Knutssonsgatan. However, the need for space has changed over the years and when the entire property was to be modernised, Circle K took the opportunity to change its workplace concept to a more flexible and operationally adapted office. Circle K moved into their new office in February 2022.
We have delivered products for the new office in collaboration with Tenant & Partner and TEA (Thomas Eriksson Arkitektur & Design AB).
The Office of Possibilities
– The focus has been on creating a workplace that will help develop working methods, increase collaboration and communication, as well as on getting better at learning from each other amongst departments and brands, says Sandra Insulander Ekström, Management Coordinator at Circle K.
– We call our office the Office of Possibilities and are extra pleased and proud of that we have succeeded in creating an office that offers different functions and environments so that we can work productively, efficiently, together or individually, on site, hybrid – or digitally.
The workstations were equipped with monitor arms, and to have close to stylish charging, Powerdot was integrated into many of the meeting tables. Iris Powerhub, a new type of powerhub for elegant and flexible charging, was chosen for the lounge groups and some meeting rooms.
