Sony Music Group – One Sony

When Sony Music Group brought its entire Swedish operations together under one roof at Katarinahuset by Slussen in Stockholm, it became more than a new office. It became a shared home.

One Sony is a spatial concept where proximity, flexibility and identity come together, and where the environment is designed to strengthen collaboration, creativity and movement throughout the workday.
A shared home
Since spring 2024, all Sony-owned music companies in Sweden are gathered in a shared office at Katarinahuset by Slussen, in Stockholm. On a single floor, approximately 120 employees from six companies share their workplace.

A unique initiative where Sweden is the first country within Sony Music Group globally to fully bring the entire group together under one roof.
Proximity that strengthens collaboration
The office is designed to create closeness between the companies and encourage collaboration across organisational boundaries. All employees share the dining area, meeting rooms and lounge spaces, regardless of company affiliation, enabling spontaneous encounters and new collaborations in everyday work.
Flexibility for different ways of working
At the same time, the work environment offers a high degree of variation. Open and flexible areas are complemented by meeting rooms of various sizes, quieter spaces for focused work, and acoustically treated listening rooms accessible to all. The office supports both creative interaction and concentration.
Nomad Collection – a companion throughout the day
In an environment where employees move between collaborative spaces, focused work and informal meetings, Nomad Collection naturally finds its place.

With its holistic design, Nomad is created to follow the employee throughout the workday, supporting different activities and moods. Easily repositioned and adaptable, the lighting becomes part of the rhythm of the office rather than fixed to a single function or space.
A personal interior concept
The interior concept, One Sony, is built around a warm and cohesive foundation, allowing each company to express its own identity through colour, form and character. Reused furniture and second-hand finds are combined with newly produced solutions, creating an eclectic, vibrant and personal whole. Where Nomad contributes both function and visual presence.

With nearly 360-degree views of Stockholm, sustainable material choices and a clear connection to Sony’s musical heritage, the office at Katarinahuset is an inspiring workplace where creativity, collaboration and a forward-looking mindset take centre stage.
