Hagastrand

Hotel Hagastrand is a newly opened destination where architecture, design, and wellbeing come together by the waters of Brunnsviken in the Royal Haga Park in Stockholm.

Designed by the Swedish architecture studio Wingårdhs, the hotel is shaped by contrasts. Calm and energy, tradition and innovation, with interiors inspired by the Nordic landscape. Natural materials, tactile surfaces and a restrained yet expressive design language create spaces that feel both grounded and contemporary.

Across rooms, lounges, spa environments and social areas, Hagastrand is designed to support presence and flow. Whether guests arrive for recovery, creativity, meetings or movement, the architecture and interiors form a cohesive experience rooted in place, atmosphere and intention.

An often overlooked but essential part of contemporary hospitality is how technology is integrated into the physical environment. At Hagastrand, charging has been thoughtfully integrated using solutions from Forming Function. Not as an add-on, but as a natural part of the spatial experience. Seamlessly embedded throughout the interiors, the charging solutions support modern needs without disrupting the atmosphere or design intent.

When integrated with care, technology becomes almost invisible. Yet deeply felt, enabling presence, comfort and continuity in a place designed for both rest and activity. It’s a small detail with a significant impact, and one that plays a quiet but vital role in shaping how the space is experienced.
